Your Trip, Your Pace
A first 14er can feel out of reach. We break it into preparation, a plan that fits you, and one step at a time. Your guide teaches pacing, altitude awareness and mountain decision-making while encouraging you along the way.
Choose Your Mountain Adventure
Go for a summit day or spend more time in the mountains with a camping trip. Day hikes include lunch and gear. For camping trips, our team will confirm the itinerary, inclusions and full quote. Weather, altitude and trail conditions guide every decision, including when to turn around.
A Day Hike or Time at Camp
Your trip, your pace. Our team will help match the mountain and format to your experience, goals and dates.
Private 14er Day Rates
Day hikes run 7–12 miles round trip with an alpine start. Add Mt. Tabeguache to a Shavano day hike for $75 per person. Camping trips are quoted separately.
Private tours from $249/person
Day-trip rate with 4 adults. Lunch and gear included. Camping and multi-day trips are quoted separately.
In exceptional cases, an additional $60 per hour may apply when a 14er hike exceeds 10 hours.
The Shavano + Tabeguache day hike adds $75 per person to the day rates above.
The Confidence to Keep Going
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Your deposit is 50% of the total trip price and is nonrefundable. The remaining balance is due the day before your trip.
If you cancel 15 or more calendar days before your trip, you are eligible for a refund of everything you have paid above the deposit.
If you cancel 8–14 calendar days before your trip, you are eligible for the smaller of 50% of the total trip price or the amount you have paid above the deposit.
If you cancel 7 calendar days or fewer before your trip, no refund is available. If you have paid only the deposit, there is no refundable amount.
For an eligible refund, we deduct only the actual card-processing fee retained by Stripe that is proportional to the refundable balance amount. We exclude fees on the deposit, add no administrative fee, and round the fee deduction down in your favor. A refund cannot be less than $0.
Contact Shelby to request a cancellation. Cancellation timing uses calendar days in Denver time. Shelby handles cancellations and refunds manually, and eligible refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of your cancellation request.
For an existing booking, the policy you accepted at checkout and received in your confirmation email applies.
