14er Fest 2026 has ended
The September 25–27 festival weekend is over, and registration for the September 27 Lost Lake hike is closed. For your next mountain adventure, GUA can help you plan a private guided 14er trip.
The 2026 schedule below is kept for reference. The festival’s Lost Lake outing was separate from GUA’s private 14er summit trips.

These were the listed GUA activities for the September 25–27, 2026 festival weekend in Buena Vista. All of these dates have passed.
Saturday, September 26 · 3 pm
Bear safety clinic
The bear safety clinic was scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at 3 pm, with a focus on sharing the trails with wildlife and preparing for outdoor adventures.
Sunday, September 27 · 8:30 am meetup
Hike to Lost Lake
The September 27 outing was scheduled to meet at the GUA booth at 8:30 am, carpool via Cottonwood Pass, and begin hiking around 9 am. Registration for this outing has closed.

Pass & meetup information
The listed Vendor Village address was 402 E Main St, Buena Vista, CO 81211. The 2026 festival instructions allowed expo visits without a festival pass. Guided trail outings and classes required a Trail Pass and a wristband from the registration booth.
The festival pass and GUA hike registration were separate. The Lost Lake registration instructions required both signed GUA forms, with no participant cap, added GUA fee, or separate approval step. Registration for the September 27 outing is now closed.
